This 200-mile tour is 100% paved and 50% traffic-free rail trail. Muskegon guests enjoy 7 days/6 nights on the tour; Milwaukee guests join at noon on the second day, for a total of 6 days/5 nights. Your tour ends where you started.
This journey takes you through scenic towns and lakeside communities in Michigan and Wisconsin, with daily rides, special events, and comfortable lodging. Experience the charm of Muskegon, Port Washington, Manitowoc, Ludington, and Montague as you cycle, dine, and relax along the way. The best part is crossing Lake Michigan twice; one on the Lake Express Ferry into Milwaukee, and then on the venerable and historic Badger Ferry on return to Michigan!
20 or 30 mile warm up rides to select in the afternoon, between Muskegon and Whitehall. We'll start loading our trailer with bikes after arrival at the hotel, to make for an easy departure Sunday morning.

We'll meet with our Michigan guests tonight for guest orientation, safety, and tour Q&A. Dutch treat for dinner since we're hosting the first tour dinner the following night after our Milwaukee guests have joined the tour.
Pack out of hotel and head to Ferry Dock. Those with personal autos will drive to the ferry dock where parking is ala-carte, $5/day (2024 rates, not included in tour price). We arrive in Milwaukee at noon and get joined by our Milwaukee guests at the ferry dock; same parking arrangements. Then enjoy a 10-12 mile ride to the beer gardens and German polka bands at Estabrook Park. You'll love our famous sag lunch and one of their libations! After lunch we continue north on the paved rail trail to Port Washington.

A.M. Rides optional, any distance so long as you get to the ferry dock on time! Note: our sag lunch will not be available on the Badger; you may make a sandwich before boarding the ship, or eat at the cafeteria abord the vessel.
Go out to Dutch-treat dinner in Ludington after settling at the hotel.

Pack out and ride south. 25 miles on township roads, plus 25 miles Hart Montague Trail. Final Tour Dinner tonight at Montague.
Pack up and return to your parked car in Muskegon after the tour ends. Tour ends on arrival at the Muskegon Ferry Terminal. Milwaukee guests take an afternoon ferry back to Wisconsin.
