This tour was amazing. The scenery was wonderful. I cannot recommend this company more. They planned everything completely with great instructions, thinking ahead of possibilities. The staff was wonderful. They were always checking how we were doing, communicating well and were very pleasant to be with. Trent and Jordan were our main guides and were there for me when I had bike issues. They know their stuff. And even though Marco and Jim were with us for a day or so they checked in also.

Left the trip after one day for the following reasons:
1. Did not feel comfortable riding on highways where the speed limit was 65 mph or more.
2. Learned after I was on the trip that I would have accommodations with shared bathrooms.
3. After the first bike ride began to feel sick with a sore throat and congestion.

Wyatt, thank you for voicing your concerns. We take each review at face value and examine what we can do to improve our tours. First, the online description of all tours will be updated to highlight the selected roads for surface and speed limit. We've always taken great care to select the safest roads available using information from the local DOTs and our experience on the roads & trails.
Regarding lodging, our most remote night of the tour season is at Grand Marais, where until recently the only hotel with rooms has the shared bathroom feature. This will be designed out on future tours.

Nice owner and crew. Expect negative surprises that differ from the web description and the final email received for the trip. I would not have purchased the trip if I knew the entire group shares bathrooms or one shower down the hall in hotels. It’s also important to understand over 100 miles of pedaling is on roads with trucks, RVs, and traffic moving 65+ miles per hour.

Hello Pam, thank you for voicing your concerns. We take each review at face value and examine what we can do to improve our tours. We're updating every tour & itinerary for 2026 to eliminate any discrepancies between guest expectation and reality. For 2026 we're designing out the shared bathroom lodging which only occurs on one night. Also, this tour is a road tour, since there are no rail trails in the Upper Peninsula in the areas we want to go. We have about 26 miles total distance on US-2, also US Bike Route 10, and about 20 of those miles include traffic at 65 MPH while we're bicycling on the 10' wide paved shoulder. This will be front & center on the itinerary and website.

I had a great time. great guides,marco, matt and Jackson. they took good care of me.!! accommodations good. I enjoyed the rides. what a great way to see the UP. definitely recommend this tour.
