THIS TOUR RUNS AUGUST 8-13 AND STARTS & ENDS IN MUSKEGON, MI
This tour was a SMASH HIT in 2026, so we're back again! This is your chance to ride from Lake Huron all the way across to Lake Michigan, 100% paved with about 90% of our riding on traffic-free rail trails, side paths, or protected bike lakes! We'd like to be 100% traffic-free, but each trail occasionally uses a small portion of public road.
Your registration fee gets six days of fun, 5 nights of lodging with breakfast, 2 tour dinners, and our wonderful sag-wagon lunch daily, if desired. Maps, staffing, and support will help make this a great trip for you! Special Bonus- we've designed this tour to start and finish at the Lake Express Ferry Dock in Muskegon, making it ideal for guests coming from Milwaukee and points west!
We've held the price from 2026, making this tour our lowest-cost tour for 2027! Due to the very attractive pricing, additional discounts are not available on this tour.

We sag you Monday morning via motor coach to the opposite side of the state, over to Bay City on the sandy shores of Lake Huron! First up, lunch and a tire dip in this lake. We'll commence our ride and enjoy an overnight stay at Midland. Note: Midland was the surprise gem on this tour, with great lodging, a vibrant and fun downtown, flowers and gardens, and the famous Tridge!
Today enjoy a second 30+ mile ride to Clare. Special features today include a sag stop at the new Sanford Dam with an overlook of the lake, plus an optional ride on county roads to visit an Amish general store. There's even a lake which offers a quick swim. We're staying overnight at the famous Doherty Hotel, just blocks off the Pere Marquette Trail! We'll host a happy hour for our guests today at the back lobby of the hotel, bringing some life back to a great space.
It's a big day, with almost 100 Kilometers or about 60 miles on the Pere Marquette Trail to Reed City, then south on the White Pine to Big Rapids for the night. This is the longest day of the tour and will be much fun for you! Our friends on the White Pine Trail have even come up with a few surprises for us!
Enjoy about 50 miles on the fully-paved White Pine Trail, into Comstock Park for the night. We'll have a special group dinner on our last night out.
Today we close the tour with a 30+mile run back to Muskegon. We'll use the newly refreshed Musketawa Trail for much of the riding today,
The tour ends with arrival back in Muskegon. Thanks!
